Portuguese-Zimbabwean multidisciplinary artist:
With a background in devised physical theater —influences from the schools of
Grotowski, Butoh, and the Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu— and Shakespeare, in the
capacity of both creator and performer, her work makes use of the body, spoken language, and technology,
in an exploration of the racist and gendered identities of the seemingly mundane. Of particular interest to her is how these
characteristics morph over geographies and time.
